Volution portfolio company Flagstone, the UK’s largest investment platform, has announced a £108m investment from US private equity firm Estancia Capital Partners.

Launched in 2015, London based Flagstone provides clients with a simple, secure online platform that gives them access to hundreds of deposit accounts from over 30 partner banks through a single application, empowering clients to earn more interest income and reduce risk. 

This new investment will be used to consolidate and expand in Britain and internationally, as well as reward existing investors. Some of the funds will be used to boost Flagstone’s brand image, industry partnerships and customer service experience.

Speaking about the investment, Simon Merchant, co-founder and CEO of Flagstone said: “At a time when funding capacity is down on a global scale, Estancia’s investment and market expertise provides us with the firepower necessary to really capitalise on the opportunities ahead of us, whether those be through organic growth, partnership and acquisitions.”
